REFUNDS - TOP
I purchased an item(s) that I would like to return or exchange what is your policy?

We will accept returns or exchanges within 14 days from date of order under the following conditions. First send an email requesting a return authorization stating the reason for the return then be sure to mail your package back insured. Replacement orders will be promptly sent upon return of the merchandise. A refund minus a 10% restocking fee will be given on any returns. There are no returns allowed after the 30 days but within 30 days from the date it was shipped you can request an exchange for items of equal or greater value. This does not include the deposit for special orders please see custom orders for more details. We are not responsible for lost stolen or damaged shipments that are uninsured through the mail.

How long does my refund take?

We process your return promptly upon receipt however refunds generally appear on your credit card statement in one to two billing periods. Your refunds will be credited back to the same card used to make the original purchase.

I purchased an item and now it is on sale can you refund the difference?

Price adjustments can be made if the original purchase is within 14 days of the item(s) going on sale. Please contact customer service at service@DN Designs.com or at (713) 705-1671.

What tax rate are you charging me?
You will be charged tax only if you live in Texas.

How will I know that my order was accepted?

You will receive an email confirmation of your order including order number and a total amount to be charged.

Do we accept checks or money orders?

We do accept checks and money orders however extra time should be allowed for check verification and returned checks are subject to a $20 fee. Merchandise will only be mailed after checks/money orders are received and check verification has been completed.

I accept Credit Card purchases from United States and Canada only. For International orders please send Cashiers Check or Money Orders to the address above. These must be received before items are mailed.

Do you do Custom Designs?

If you are looking for something special you can call us at (713) 705-1671 and discuss a possible custom order. If you see an item that is listed as NO LONGER AVAILABLE on this website send an email with your request I will let you know your options on that order. After long consideration I decided to add an additional 20% to all custom orders due when the order is requested. Most custom orders typically cost me more in parts than the actual order price. All custom order sales are final.

Is my credit card information secure?

Yes we encrypt all information sent via the Internet so that data arrives privately and securely at its destination. DN Designs makes every effort to protect your online order by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Technology. For more information see our Security Policy.

I am nervous about entering my credit card information online.

It is actually safer for you to enter your credit card information online than tell it to a merchant over the phone. When you enter your information online with Card Service International the merchant never sees your actual card number.

REPAIRS AND ADJUSTMENTS - TOP
Can jewelry be made longer?

Yes Jewelry can be altered in length. If you need something altered please call our customer service department at (713)705-1671 to arrange details. There will be additional charges for alterations. Please allow up to 6 additional weeks for delivery.

I bought a necklace from DN Designs online and it broke can I send it back for repair?

Yes we will repair merchandise. If an item you purchased on this website should break within 30 days I will repair that item for free provided all the beads are returned. Otherwise all repairs are $1.50 per inch plus the retail cost of any bead replacement. If you have a repair please contact customer service at (713)705-1671 to obtain a return authorization.

ORDERING AS A GIFT - TOP
I would like to purchase a gift for my sister. Can I have you send the gift directly to her with a gift receipt?

Yes you can ship an order to an address which differs from your billing address. If the order is a gift please select that at checkout and we will make sure that the order is shipped with a gift receipt only which will not show prices. We will email the full receipt directly to you.

I’m starting early on my Christmas shopping. Will gifts that I purchase now be able to be returned after the holiday?

All items purchased in the month of December may be returned for a full refund until January 31 of the following year.

Do you have a Catalog?

I do not have a paper catalog available since most of the jewelry are one of a kind designs a catalog would be out-of-date by the time you would receive it. This website serves as my catalog and is updated frequently with new items. All the items are one-of-a-kind although similar reproductions can be made on many items.

PRODUCT QUESTIONS - TOP
Is there a difference between Gold Vermeil and Gold-plated?

Yes. Gold Vermeil is usually 22 or 23kt Gold plated on Sterling Silver. Gold-filled is usually 12kt Gold plated on Base Metal.

Are there different kinds of Crystals? Why do you use Swarovski?

Yes there are different types of Crystals. We use Swarovski because they have been the leading manufacturer of Crystals since 1895. Their products are considered to be top quality.

What is Bali silver?

The Bali silver is imported .925 silver and imported from Bali Indonesia. It is our preferred choice of silver due the character and intricate designs each bead has.

JEWELRY CARE - TOP
How long does the jewelry last?

With average wear and tear the jewelry should last for well I won’t say forever but a very long time if you take care of it properly.

How do I keep a stretch bracelet from getting over stretched?

Regardless of where you buy your Stretch bracelets if you roll them on and off you will get longer wear out of them than if you stretch them on and off. Also I would advise you avoid contact with water it will shorten the lifespan of the bracelet.

I wore my Ankle Bracelet to the Beach and the saltwater made it tarnish what should I do?

A silver polishing cloth is best however you could use your toothpaste and rub it on the silver it will shine like it did in no time. I also heard you could use Baking Soda but I have not tried this myself. I would not use this on your fine silver it may be too abrasive I have not had a problem using it on my small silver balls or Bali silver beads on my anklets or necklaces.

DETERMING SIZE - TOP
How do I measure for a Watch Anklet or Bracelet?

You want them to be slightly loose but not so loose that it will flip or rotate easily. For example; if your wrist is 7 you want a Watch that is slightly larger 7¼ or 7½ should do. If you stretch watch is too tight it will probably over-stretch and can break in time be sure it is slightly loose.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes DN Designs welcomes wholesale purchases. Wholesale discounts are based on a sliding scale. 50% off orders that total over $1000 retail 40% for $750 retail 30% for $500 retail and 20% for $250 retail cost. A tax certificate is required before finallizing the transaction. All wholesale orders are final no refunds are issued for any reason. I love to work with boutiques and individual retailers and have several customers in Texas Colorado New York Oklahoma and California. Repeat customers can become part of an incentive plan. There is a sold sign on a bracelet I really liked does that mean it is no more available?

If there is an item you like that is listed as NO LONGER AVAILABLE that means that particular bracelet has been sold. Although depending on the item I may still have all the beads on hand to make a similar design.

I noticed a piece that was similar to something I saw at a previous visit and the prices were very different why is that?

Prices are subject to change based on current market prices of beads findings and supplies.
